A - The highest quality part. An A grade part is close to original condition (i.e. hairline scratches). B - A second level quality part. B grade parts may show moderate signs of wear (i.e. noticeable scratches). C - The third level quality part. Although still useable, a C grade exceeds a moderate amount of damage. TMU or TMUK - "True Mileage Unknown" which means for one reason or another, the mileage was never recorded for that vehicle. Whether the mileage is stated or says TMU, the LKQ warranty still applies. REMAN - LKQ also remanufactures parts such as engines and transmissions. In such cases we list the condition as being remanufactured. This may appear in the following forms "REMAN", "REBUIL", "REBULT", "REMAND", "REMEND", "RECOND". NIQ - Non Insurance Quality (NIQ) means the part is not suitable for a repair if payment is going to come from an insurance company. The part may be a good but for some small reason, may not be suitable for repairs paid for by insurance (i.e. light scratches on the lens). Other - Sometimes you may see another code or numerical code that does not match codes for similar parts.
